Social responsibility
Giving back to disadvantaged communities is a powerful act of compassion and solidarity. It involves extending a helping hand to those who face social and economic challenges, providing them with resources, opportunities and support. With the proceeds we gather from our events we redistribute it among these projects that help people in need.

Army Youth Crew
From the Members in Christ Church
The purpose of the church is to proclaim the principles of the Bible, as the Word of the Triune God, with the focus on the doctrine of Jesus Christ, as the Head of the church, as determined in the whole of the Holy Scripture, on all levels and amongst all people, according to His will, working towards the edification and extension of the body of Christ on earth and furthermore to convert every member, community and nation into true disciples of Jesus Christ, as well as strengthening the band of unity between believers from all Christian denominations.

The First Kidkhana
We hosted the first Kidkhana in Brackenfell for disadvantaged children in the community. This event was a great success as all of the children had a good time and learnt a lot about racing. We hope to host more events like this in the future.
Agape School
Agape School was started in 2001 by the parents of disabled children. It initially operated out of a house in Mitchells Plain. We currently accommodate approximately 340 intelectually disabled children of all races and school-going ages. We follow the CAPS curriculum for disabled learners, where teaching is focussed on learning life skills and aiding integration into society. All learners are intellectually challenged in varying levels of disability. Some are physically disabled too, but that is not the focus of the school. Disorders include: Downs-Syndrome, Epilepsy and mild Cerebral Palsy and recently Autism.

G-Cap feeding initiative
We participated in a feeding initiative by contributing toward feeding some underprivileged people in the Retreat area, on a very cold and wet Saturday morning. This was a very humbling and eye opening experience.
Al- Waagah
Originally known as the Oasis for the Deaf. For the past 27 years AL-Waagah has achieved numerous milestones – from its humble beginnings at St Athans Mosque in 1995, to operating from a house to its greatest achievement to date, our new home. AL-Waagah has played a pivotal role to fill the gaps that are left in the development and support needed to help Deaf individuals overcome barriers to achieving their full potential. While there are approximately 43 schools across the country for Deaf and hard of hearing learners, few have the capacity to provide comprehensive support especially in impoverished neighbourhoods.

Aslam/ Good Day to each & everyone of you.
Firstly I would want to say your hospitality was amazing, making me feel so welcome from the start. What an inspiring yet amazing event it was!! I feel privileged to have been part of it. And then a big shukran to Racing4Change for their contribution towards my funds for my upcoming Worlds event. Shukran for the donation, I really appreciate it and it touched my heart! Means a lot to me, to know that there are still good people out there that will go out of their way to assist me in reaching my dreams/goals.
It was always a stressful struggle going away to go and represent my Country at the world's. I always need to borrow money/make loans to cover my trip. That is also one of the reasons, I am very grateful for your contribution.
My whole pool career started at home, in Bonteheuwel. My family had a pool club where my father was my mentor and there my love for the game grew. It was an escape from the streets and a stress reliever. All the years of hard work, determination and commitment paid of when I won my first Nationals and I told myself that one day , I am going to become the world champion and be the role model for my community so that the youth can look up to me and give them a little bit of hope.
